Who is BucketMedia
Who we are
BucketMedia was born from a passion for basketball and being a proud parent of two ballers. As someone who grew up playing a lot of sport, but not having a single photo me playing, we wanted our kids to have a record of their playing career. Initially we tried taking photos on a mobile with limited success. Starting with a borrowed DSLR and purchasing suitable lenses for sport, our photography along with our equipment, has grown from an interest to a passionate business.
How do I get access to my images or video?
BucketMedia will supply you with a link to access your content taken at the game. This can be shared to other team members. Content can easily be downloaded and stored by yourself. If required, we can set up your own content archive where permission must be granted before viewing.
What courts are best for photos and video?
In general, most newer stadiums are suitable for taking photos as they generally have better lighting. We can work with most stadiums, but the better quality of lighting, the more successful a shoot will be.
Can I use the images or video on social media?
BucketMedia encourages everyone to share our content on social media, and where possible, tag our own social media platforms (@BucketMedia.au) when you do. Note: Please refer to intended use of images for each package.
Please note there are rare occasions or special requests for images not to be shared. These images will be watermarked as “Do Not Share” by BucketMedia.
For team bookings, do I get photos of all the players on the team?
BucketMedia will always try to get a high quality action image of every player. Due to how a game like basketball works, this is not always possible. Most of the time we get high quality images of all players on a team, but we cannot guarantee it.
Does BucketMedia hold a current Working With Children Check? (WWCC)
All individuals involved with BucketMedia have an up to date working with children’s check.
For content I pay for, does BucketMedia use on social media or on-sell?
We may use photo and video for our own promotion on our social media unless requested not to, but will never on-sell any is without permission.
How long does BucketMedia keep images for?
BucketMedia.au will store the original images for a minimum of 12 months.
What happens if the opposition says no to photos/video taken on game day?
BucketMedia will always confirm permission from either a team manager or coach on the day of the game prior to taking any photos or video. On rare occasions where permission is denied, we will request to reschedule with your team at the nearest suitable time.
Can I get an invoice?
